Keerthy Suresh

Keerthy (born on the 17th October 1992), was born on 17 October 1992, and is an Indian actress. She has a prominent role in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films. The actress was awarded the National Film Awards' Best Actress award for portraying Savitri the character in the Telugu film Mahanati (2018). Other awards she has won comprise three SIIMA Awards, a Filmfare Award South and three SIIMA Awards. Keerthy Kumar Suresh is the actress Menaka G. Suresh's daughter. Her first career was a children's actress. After completing her studies in fashion design, she was back to acting. She portrayed her first leading role in Geethaanjali (2013 Malayalam). She went on to star in successful films such as Ring Master (2014), Rajinimurugan (2016), Remo (2016), Bairavaa (2017), Nenu Local (2017), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Mahanati (2018), Sarkar (2018), Sandakozhi 2 (2018), Penguin (2020), Miss India (2021), Good Luck Sakhi (2022) and Sarkaru Vaari Paata (2022). Keerthy embarked on her first Malayalam projects as well as started working with Tamil at the same time. The first film she acted in came in A. L. Vijay's romantic comedic Idhu Enna Maayam (2015) which was a co-production with Vikram Prabhu, though the film was not a success in the theater. To make room for larger projects due to her hectic schedule, she had opted to not participate in certain films that she began to work on. The films included were Krishna's Maane Thaene Paeye (a romance) and Deekay's Kavalaivendam. The result was that she made two films with Sivakarthikeyan in quick succession, Rajini Murugan and Remo, while also playing the main role for Prabhu Solomon's Thodari, alongside Dhanush.Her Telugu debut was planned to be Ainaa Ishtam Nuvvu. It was delayed in 2015, and there are reports that it will be released after September, 2020 under the new name Janakitho Nenu. Nenu Sailaja (2016), with Ram Pothineni as the actor was the debut film of Keerthy's. Keerthy played the lead role in Bairavaa produced by Bharathan and starring actor Vijay.
