In her childhood the beginning of her professional career began. Ford Modeling Agency signed her as a child model at a young age. The outstanding work she did helped her to gradually become one of best child models. Her modeling career includes many important initiatives. These include commercials with brands such as Hershey's. In 1997, at 7 years old, she began her acting career as a child. Nickelodeon casts her as Gullah Gullah in the show Gullah Gullah island. Shaina is the character that she portrayed.
