Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her Winona in honor of her home town. Michel Horowitz was her father as well as Cynthia Palmer, his mother are both authors as well as editors. Ryder's dad came from an ethnically Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. The actress is the younger sister of Uria who is half-sister to Jubal and Sunyata. Ryder and her family relocated to California's Mendocino County in the year 2000, when Ryder was seven. There, they didn't have electricity. Ryder was an avid bookworm and would spend her days studying books since there was no TV. Ryder, then 12, enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas the film, which was released in 1986 that she was in, was her debut major character. Ryder was only 15 at the time she was cast. Ryder was bullied in her high school. She hoped acting might change the situation. It didn't turn out. But she pushed on with her dream. She got her break through Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in the year 1988. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in a variety of films. There were two Academy Awards were nominated, one for The Age of Innocence (1996).
